I’ve red some ones like that too. And yea, they do go through a lot... I have a headcanon of the Ruffs getting demon powers from a punishment from HIM.
Brick : Ok! Enough. I don’t wanna be... *tear follows down face and drips onto ground* reminded.
Butch : *starts shaking with emotion and tries to hold in tears, but fails and small tears start to pour down face, hides his face in shame*
