Well this was the final project I had for my art class. The assignment was to create an artwork influenced by either a song, a famous quote, a book, a poem, or the likes. So it came up to this on my part; a painting with acrylic paints. This scene is influenced by a song in Spanish called Lindo Viaje - Viaje a las Estrellas(Beautiful Journey - Journey to the Stars) by Tercer Cielo (Third Heaven). But why Tails and Fiona? I really don't know. Maybe because as I started reading the comics I noticed the type of character Tails was and the hardships he endured as the comic progressed, so I thought, just for once, what if Tails and Fiona were a couple.Miles "Tails" Prower belongs to SEGA

As an afterthought, with the usage of the word "Journey" and the darkness involved, it brings to mind a song that I find fitting for Tails and Fiona. "Long Journey" by Enya.
City lights shine on the harbor, night has fallen down.
Through the darkness and the shadow, I will still go on.

First time hearing this song, and wow. So harmonious and pleasant to the ear, in addition to describing the journey with such passion, no wonder why you think this song is fitting for Tails and Fiona.

Any artwork that shows them as a romantic couple is a masterpiece in my book. This one really lives up to the term, however. I heartily enjoy seeing Fiona in her yellow jumpsuit, and how Tails is wearing the pilot clothing from 25 Years Later... It fits perfectly to the scenario. The moonlight effect on the water is an especially beautiful touch to the scene. The planets and stars give off a spiritual atmosphere to Fiona's appearance in the skies. If I was your art professor, I'd give you not only an A+, but a complete passing grade for this artwork.

Thanks. She saw it before school finished but I still hadn't finished painting Tails. Recently I finished it and redid some thing on both characters with some acrylics the teacher gave me as a reward.
