I really like the structuring of your features in your self portrait. Nice touch with adding actual texture. Using that kind of texture with such geometrical shapes verses the more organic drawing style from your pen work is striking. Really enjoyed this piece.

It's so clean! And I love the effect of pasting construction paper over the drawing, it really makes the image pop.

thanks, I'm glad you like it... I spent a long time sketching proportions and getting down the shape of the eyes, etc... with portraits if one thing is slightly off it has a huge affect on the overall likeness.

Definitely, under structure is a major factor when it comes to setting up the composition. I should really get into making some life-drawing art stuff...
