WOW awesome thanks for *cakecrumbs for suggesting this work for the Daily Deviation and also thaks to ^Talty for featured this work
And thanks a lot for all of you!!! for your appreciations and supports !!! It's really mean for me...for some one that learning glass flameworking only from youtube and using used glass because can't afford to by boro glass rod.. but then I belief that recycled glass still doable for flameworking...
and I want to share my story, so this is from my blog :
Hi my name is Ivan Bestari Minar Pradipta, I’m from Yogyakarta city Indonesia, just call me Ivan. I’m starting to work with glass since last year, just by coincidence because I met with one of the only one oldest scientific glassblower (74 years old) in my town. Then I try to search more information about glass art in Indonesia, but what I found is almost nothing. When I try to ask around about it to other senior visual artist, they say the same things, almost none Indonesian artist using glass material as art medium. Actually there is some glass studio in Bali, but it is private studio, they produce glass sculpture etc, but other artist don’t have access to it. In Bali they keep the glass work knowledge for them self, only for commercial purpose.
So I’m start experimenting using flameworking torch that build by the old scientific glassblower (picture, [link] ), I try to develop flameworking art by my own & youtube as reference. Then I fall in love with flameworking, but using what we have here, and that is used glass. I can’t have the glass rood here in Indonesia, if I imported it will be too expensive for us here. Used glass material is a real challenge for me, but still I won’t give up, until now I still try how much further I can push this material and my skills to make artwork with all this limitation. Recycled glass flameworking became my style, became my way to express my mind and what I felt, how to transfer my imagination within process of metamorphic from waste into artwork in the burning flame.

Your glass work is stunningly gorgeous. This piece above all is my favourite, but they are all lovely. It looks so delicate - I'd be afraid to touch it!
