Equipment: Panasonic GF3 + 14mm f/2.5.
Technique: 3 x [5 x RAW] files processed with Photomatix Pro 4.2 and Photoshop CS6 and stitched in PTGui 9.1 Pro.

How do you manage to capture such brilliant colors in your HDR images? I have not been as successful with my own attempts.

Well, for one thing I control the saturation of various colors separately.

Open hue/saturation and then instead of master select a color and then use the color picker on the image to be more precise. You can also control the boundaries of the color on the little slider below.
Try selecting the blue of the sky and then dropping the lightness down.
