I just learned what an Ent was the other day. This is really neat I like the way it was painted

Thanks. I wanted to keep it looking very rough like a quickly painted oil painting so that the ents bark had a good texture to it.

just a big ol stump surrounded by all of his lovely branches...

I wanted the tree to have a lot of character with a large face and lots of gnarled roots so I decided to focus on the stump/trunk and make the branches and leaves a lessor focal point. I hope it worked.
