I'm always amazed by how fast stuff goes through the front page here, then that's it. If it doesnt' get caught in those few seconds, many people don't know about it (unless they see it faved on someone's site).

Most of the cool artwork I've found on here wasn't from the front page but from people who commented on my work or faved me. I'd see favs on their site and check them out and have found some great stuff!

So true! That's why there has been such an upstart of clubs like Thumbshare and dapainters.

I don't even go to the front page any more.

The bad part about dA any more is the sheer size. That is another reason I watch so many people. Some of them wouldn't get any comments if it weren't for me... (pats self on back) haha

But this is why I put out two journals each month with thumbnails of favorite artists and favorite pieces, which brings it down to your pieces that will be featured in a journal as soon as I get through the list to them.

Anyway, keep posting! With you varied talents you'll get a fan base!

I think it's because this one was painted more flat without the 3D feel of some of the others. Gives it a more mechanical look perhaps.
