I notice the association between Christianity and money. It would be more accurate to call it "churchianity" (pre-existing term). This is a common theme in a lot of social commentary and is revealing of the abysmal failure that is mainstream churchianity, the worship of mortal pagiantry, materialism, and ancient Roman paganism in the form of holidays ordained by the oppressive Catholic Church (which are just a scam to line the coffers of the internationalist mammon-worshippers and the subhuman degenerate bankers of the Vatican). As Johnny Cash once said, "They say they want the Kingdom, but they don't want God in it."

reminds me of plato's 'allegory of the cave' but a little in reverse. i like how you use canvas in in the paintings (light switch wall, behind tv) the bandages again.

Thanks. Concerning the canvas edge being shown, I did something similar in the Glorification of War painting ( [link] )
I use that as allegory to show the thinly veiled facade over our shallow existence. There's a lot of symbolism in most of my surreal work like that. The light switch is a symbol of control, the coat hangar relates to one side or the other's views on abortion, architecture falling apart (and the subsequent quick fixes with band-aids and broken boards nailed together) represents instability either in the subject of the work or in society in general, etc.

Actually the chains thing is a symbol of control and restraint (well, I guess that's obvious, but hey, ya never know).
If you notice, I use broken architecture or landscapes a lot also-symbolizing instability... but in what?
