My entry for the 3rd round atThe idea was to transform any character from Mortal Kombat into a mecha. Not an easy task, really.

I think you did an exceptional job on this, the coloring the lighting and the way you handled the metal looks really great. I also like the design it has a good mech feel but also identifies instantly with the original design of the character. The only thing Im a little iffy on is the feet it almost feels incomplete down there
and design wise Im not sure how it would balance, I would of suggested taking the design of the high heel boots you have her wearing and doing something like that on her feet maybe make the heel bart have like a blade or something like that. Thats just my thoughts on it and like I said overall it looks really fantastic.

Te quedΓ³ bueno, por lo menos se nota que es Jade. Me gustΓ³ juntarnos a filosofar en tu casa ir pensando en "como deberΓa ser..." con todas las teorΓas, viendo videos, fotos, etc. Para colmo a medida que pasa el tiempo, no sΓ³lo se acerca la deadline sino que da mucha bronca el tener que "Empezar de nuevo".
Realmente era un desafΓo. Pero digamos que la sacaste al corner en el ΓΊltimo minuto.

It kind of looks like an Evangelion mecha, I see it now. The thing is that I needed the mecha to be feminine, so the inspiration has to come from a slender, somewhat delicate model. I needed a lot of reference, since I've never done a mecha before.

Nunca en mi vida tuve que diseΓ±ar un mecha antes. Lo que hice es el concepto, que por lo general se hace en una pose estΓ‘tica para mostrar justamente el diseΓ±o. Imaginate que con lo que me costΓ³ este, una pose mΓ‘s dinΓ‘mica me hubiese llevado un aΓ±o.
