Well, damn. I'm working with an MLP Choose-your-own interactive drama game with a friend, mainly inspired by The Beethoofen Virus series by .
We don't have much to show yet, still working with premade graphics, but that'll change soon.
How does this interest you?
Well, I'm working on a Demo scene to show off some of the concepts, and I have you to thank for the basic idea. When I started reading your comic, at first I got bored of it in an instant, but something brought me back and now I'm very engaged in the story.
What struck me is how you made F/F couples able to make babies, and I started wondering what the explanation could be. So I made up a name and description of a "Gene Transfer" spell, and I thought it would be neat to put it in the game as an easter egg. Then, I thought of writing some other "books" for the player to read on bookshelves.
Then I thought it would be better to put all these in a library where one of the game's scenes would play out. I'm now designing the demo scenario in this library, which has my "spell" book readable, but the player will also be able to find your comic on the bookshelves, if you're okay with that.
So yeah, thanks for that!
...but I did all this without looking more into your gallery, so I found out about this way too late. My initial reaction was GODDAMNIT SHE ALREADY MADE AN EXPLANATION.
Worst thing is, it's almost word-to-word the same as mine, but there is a difference, which in my opinion makes my theory more plausible; that is, that while here it's only Luna who does(and can do) this, in my explanation, the spell can be cast by any experienced magician unicorn.
I'd just like to compare Luna to Santa Claus in this case; I don't think it's plausible, no matter how divine Luna is, for her to spend her nights flying around giving random F/F couples babies. That is, in my opinion, a more religious kind of explanation, and I think it could translate to "if you love eachother hard enough you will get babies" in a sense. While it's certainly a beautiful and meaningful thing, I don't think it's realistic, not even by equestria and magic(*snort* *snort*) standards.
Now, in my explanation, the same thing is done, but instead of it happening by "itself", the couple, for the lack of a better expression, "makes the babies" on will, kind of how one would do in real life. If science were to make the egg transfer thing you mentioned actually possible, it could translate to something exact in real life too.
(I was delighted to hear such a thing is theoretically possible, even though it would eventually pretty much cause the extinction of my gender

I always just figured the right spell could make it work and anyone with access to the right magical library (or with access to someone who has access to it) could make it happen. Twilight totally gets begged into casting a spell like that once a week.

Actually science *kinda* can....
Scientists have been able to create baby mice by combining 2 mouse eggs. It works just like how a sperm cell fertilizes an egg, except with another egg.
We know ponies can teleport objects from one place to another.
A pony with enough power and concentration (namely, Luna) could move an egg from one host to another, making a baby. However, the side effect is that the baby will ALWAYS be female, because no Y chromosome can come into play here.
I was really surprised when I learned it was actually possible. Unfortunately, scientists haven't created a safe way to make it work for humans, but I imagine a goddess could do it with a higher rate of success.
