Made with Paint.NET and G'MIC-Qt. Base image is a radial black-pink spiral, overlaid with the hexagon grid render from G'MIC. I found that if I chose a thin, white hexagonal lattice, angoisse anguish would prune some of the lines of the hexagonal lattice, then dream smoothing would warp them slightly which creates the overall effect of the image. Finally, I also reduced the brightness in the top-left and top-right areas, although they are still somewhat artifacted due to the dream smoothing filter not working perfectly there.
