Found my way here from "Red". Fantastic work, Ivory... Really fantastic. The last two scenes were my favorites. The panning up in the last scene was just beautiful.

I just played through all the 'differences' games, and not only am I impressed, but I adored all the pop culture references. I saw a few radiohead and gorillaz ones, and I'm pretty sure an aphex twin and and FLCL one too?

Seriously... I love you so much, I can't even express it. These games are amazing, could play them all day (and night). If you had made more games like this and sold them as computer games in stores, I would buy them all. The music is relaxing (even though it may be a bit annoying over time) and you give me so much inspiration! Thank you

Out of all the games I could've played right now, I found this possibly the nicest thing to play.

Thanks for a very 'interesting' game, Ivory.

I love Red too!
I played these games every day in highschool and if my damn work didn't block your website, I'd play 'em there too. haha

Awesome work again! Only 2 things annoy me a bit: I don't like the second mouse pointer, and also there's no need for the mute button.
Other than that, a perfect piece of art! Keep it coming!

IvoryDrive In reply to Engloutie [2010-02-07 18:25:23 +0000 UTC]

You know, the mute button was added in at the last minute, and it kinda ruins the symmetry but I figured people would complain if I didn't put one.

I'm so glad you made another one of these. I think this might be the first time that I forgot that I was playing a game, and just got lost looking at all the little details. The music helped in that respect too. God, that track is so good. And that last level, that it was slow makes it a really good conclusion. Anyway, I'm gonna play it again, so good job and thank you for making something pretty awesome!

You make these silly find games into art... I found myself not wanting to finish the puzzle because I wanted to see how the picture would pan out. The tree one was beautiful, it looked like stained glass; the ink blot was extremely creative; and I liked the cameos your graffiti pigeons make, too. Again, wonderful job!

IvoryDrive In reply to ronaldvonstrogen [2010-02-04 18:21:05 +0000 UTC]

My dad took the picture of the trees and I was so impressed by it I asked if I could use it in my game. I would have never found a shot like that.

I do believe it will happen too... A boy can dream... I'm a patient guy...

I type in DVORAK now... You should look it up. I'd bet you'd appreciate it... If you end up getting into it, let me know I have some really great helpful apps for it...

IvoryDrive In reply to LaughingTree [2010-02-05 17:47:09 +0000 UTC]

I've heard about that, and honestly, it would be cool if that's how we did it from the start, but I'm so used to my current setup, I don't think I could ever switch with any gain in efficiency. Of course maybe I'm wrong. There's always that.

OKYA!! so I've got a serious question. I want to start working with glass, just to expand my creative horizons, and I want to start with one of those workbench torches so I can make little things and get used to the medium.

is this a good idea?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

LaughingTree In reply to IvoryDrive [2010-02-06 14:29:09 +0000 UTC]

Well it depends on your final goal... If it's to be a good lampworker, then that's a great idea... If you're thinking more along the lines of larger work made in the hotshop, then perhaps seeking out a hotshop to dip your toes in would be a better way to go about things.

There are many ways to get there... But it all depends on where you want to go...

IvoryDrive In reply to LaughingTree [2010-02-06 16:55:34 +0000 UTC]

I really like the idea of doing something small that I could handle on my own in my garage. "a hotshop to dip your toes in" that makes me cringe a little.

LaughingTree In reply to IvoryDrive [2010-02-06 22:14:20 +0000 UTC]

Well i think I would still seek out a public place to try it out before you go dropping a few hundred dollars on a setup... You can take a pretty cheap class somewhere and make sure you like it before you go dropping benjamins.

IvoryDrive In reply to LaughingTree [2010-02-07 18:27:39 +0000 UTC]

You're right, I should check out what's shakin at the community college here. I wonder where else I could look for glass classes. Glasses.

I need glasses.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

LaughingTree In reply to IvoryDrive [2010-02-08 16:43:26 +0000 UTC]

If you take a class, they'll probably have some you can borrow... If you end up getting serious, auralens is a great company for glasses, but you'll drop some cash on those... For starters, get some cheap didymiums and a welding shade from a welding supply store. A great starter...

Also check out glassart.org They list alot of public studios in there. Or you can also look up members who live by you and ask them... If you're interested, I bet you could find someone willing to teach you some stuff in exchange for a website... If they need hosting, my offer still stands too. hehe. Let me know if you need any help or have any questions...

You've done it again Case... another imaginative, dreamy, extremely well thought out, professional game.

While I really enjoyed the trippy, paranoid nature of the last game, this one is really meditative and serene - largely contributed to the music, which is also extremely well done.

I don't know who these Hugh & Saturation fella's are but they've got their shit together.

Keep it up dude. All of it.
