Description
So, in case anyone doesn't know, an axolotl is a type of salamander, also known as the Mexican Salamander. I really want one! They can grow back any and all limbs, and the head of one was even put on the back of another. It survived for 50 something weeks. Whats odd about them is that they have lungs, but... never go out of water and can't really survive on land. Technically they can, if they absolutely have to, but one comparison was "technically humans can breathe underwater. we just wouldn't last long, after our lungs filled with water". So, these aren't animals that you can play with, like a ferret or a dog.
Anyways, I have a roleplay with some friends, called Fyre Gem. We can play as anthros, and I decided to make an anthro axolotl, because... well, why not? They're awesome! Oh, and for any Gravity Falls fans... play Bill's last words backwards, and check out a book about the show. It's not Journal #3, but it has an axolotl. ;3

Anyways, rant about the species and fandoms, over! So, Axel will be... um, I'm not sure, honestly. ^^ I'm thinking that, being an anthro gave him stronger lungs and he has always been curious of land. Now that he can breathe air, he likes to travel and learn what he can. to make sure his gills don't dry out, he likes to stay near sources of water and carry a container with him.
