I don't know what marker you used for the smoke. O_o I've never seen a marker that can make smoke look transparent. Unless that's a really, really dying marker. XD

It's just a pale grey marker that looks even paler because of how I edited the picture.
I'm really happy to hear you say that. ^^ I haven't seen many different designs for these characters, but yours are probably my favourite and are certainly fun to draw. I'm curious, are you ever planning on drawing The Hunter and The Nightmare?

Thank you! ^^ Yes, in fact The Hunter is my next project. Nightmare is a bit of a struggle. :V I'm not quite sure how to desgin him yet. I have an idea, I just haven't put it to paper yet.

I wanted to give him a "boss" aspect to him. I thought of an overcoat thing and a bowler hat.
The problem I have is that I'm not sure what Nightmare will look like. I can't make up my mind if I want him to have legs (if they did they'd be small) or have like a small tail thing and just use his wings for flight.

I like the coat and bowler hat idea. A proper gangster boss, that's perfect for him.
I can see why you're debating that, I'm sort of debating that as well. On one hand it might be a bit odd if out of all of your versions of the puppets, he was the only one with missing limbs and some versions without legs look a bit silly.
On the other hand, he has been shown to not have legs in the retro version. Also, he is a puppet and that's a common characteristic with puppets.

Also, the animal I want to base his design on is a bat. I'm thinking around giving him tiny legs but a tail-ish thing that kinda hides them, so it looks like the retro version as well.

I say go with it. Hardly noticible legs. It would give him an advantage because he can walk and stand.
I was going to ask if he would be based off a more specific animal since your other ones are. I would have gone with bat as well because of the giant wings and round, pink nose. Will he be larger than the rest of the puppets or more or less their height?

Since he flies, he'd be "taller", but in comparison to the others, he'd be about as tall at Follower (the smallest).

Oh I defiantly agree with you there. The idea of him giving The Waiter a prober waiter outfit and cigar really shows. As for the Follower and Greater the jackets are a nice touch. Still I really like how you drew the 123 SMS characters. They do look fluffy but I'm sure I'll get ripped to pieces if I tried to cuddle them.

Yes. He's told me what he'll be doing for Nightmare and I thought that was as brilliantly fitting as making The Waiter an actual waiter. Yes, you must resist the fluffiness.
