Description
Exploring further my cartoon nostalgiaEven though I had laughed at all the gags in Tom & Jerry enough to get used to them, I still love these cartoons for a number of reasons. First, for the totally awesome interplay of facial expressions. Second, for the rare unity of music and character movement. Third, for its naughtiness that doesn't, however, exceed the boundaries where it might become distasteful. Fourthly, for their magnificent animation. All in all, everything is in harmony about these cartoons.

This brings back memories alright. T&J is indeed a classic cartoon, and you got everyone concerned here to a T - I can almost hear Mammy yelling "THOMAAAAAAS".

JASPER! Hehe... Sorry, I had to. The first name that Tom went by in the first Tom and Jerry cartoons. The lady with the broom reminded me of that. Very cute and detailed style on the cartoon cats. That is pure professional illustration quality right there.

Yeah, in the earliest of episodes he was known as Jasper. The lady with the broom was always yelling at him and calling him that.

And oddly enough, Sylvester was referred to as Thomas in his first film!
