To be honest, I can't remember exactly. Four or five hours, maybe. It was improvised quite rapidly, I think. In fact, I could have taken more care over some of the lines; I suppose I was in a hurry to get the idea down.
Actually there's a kind of logic to this kind of image, which means that the drawing of it is more or less a mechanical process of subdividing the shapes, which can be done quite quickly.

Wow. I would've thought something like that would've taken longer, but if you're just dividing up simple shapes then I suppose the process would go by faster.
