Description This piece is a tribute to Tim Cantor. He is an artist here in San Diego who does oil paintings in incredible detail. Some of my favorite pieces are his water drop abstracts. As I am crap with a brush, I decided to use Photoshop instead.

Wow... That is amazing. I love spirals and in combination with this bead of water and the overall impression, it is stunning! I like especially the bright light under the droplet!

Thanks!
I can only take so much credit though. You should visit this website: Tim Cantor
Tim's work was the sole inspiration for this piece. If anything, I consider my piece to be a digital version of any one of his waterdrop paintings, instead of a unique piece of my own. You should check out his gallery if you're ever in Downtown San Diego.

I would check out his gallery but since I'm from Germany and constantly broke with no holidays.... it is most unlikely. Thanks for the link anyways!!!

I love Tim's work too. I went to his show - how could I not! I stumbled upon his exhibit downtown and was amazed. I love how he incorperates poetry with almost all of his work - to show us the overall message and to convey more emotion.

I love it.

Yeah, I went to his October show last year and was amazed to see that his work continues to get more intricate.
And thank you for the comment.

I can appreciate this. I too live in San Diego and LOVE Tim's work. I first found him by stumbling across his place Downtown. He has a show coming up. You should check it out. Good work!

Thanks, I have been in his studio before, and his work is very impressive in person. I might even make it to the show, I think it's this month too.
