idk if this is even remotely helpful to anyone but here this is how I paint irises (in SAI) because I spend way too much time doodling eyes. I hope you can draw round-er circles than me because mine look like flat tiresI specify the one layer part so you know I didn't use fancy layer modes or effects or anything; just different colours. The brush is the same the whole way, too, just different sizes.

haha, yeah, me too, but I wanted to make sure there wasn't any question that I didn't use any layer effects or anything so its easier to see what I did
