I do custom vials all the time, though this one would be nearly impossible to recreate, as I live in NYC now, and this early one was made when I lived in the deep South, land of abundant access to pine trees and mistletoe up every oak.

O.O
I like it! Its so beautiful! Too bad its sold though...
Cute bottle too. How big is it in reality? The bottle, I mean.

Izile In reply to EdgeofFear [2009-04-26 23:38:39 +0000 UTC]
all the bottles are right at an inch tall, not counting the cork or any of the dangling charms.

Hm, okay. Thank you. I meant the bottle, not the whole thing. Lol, sorry if I was unclear.

I have a bulk supplier. Depending on where you live, you could probably find some at a Hobby Lobby.

I find it distressing that you didn't think to include fibrous satin spar (selenite).
It is the most intellectually stimulating wind-attributed mineral formation I have ever come across. Not only is it attributed with most of the features you listed, but it has the property to harmonize and amplify any kind of positive energy when used in conjunction with other minerals and crystals.
Not that I don't think this is an awesome idea, which you have apparently executed very nicely. Well done!

I think distressing is a bit harsh. This was one of the first 6 I ever made, and was made with what I had available to me in rural Mississippi.
I have only in the past year been able to start offering a much broader range of gemstones and crystals, since I moved to NYC.
But I do appreciate your input, and I'm glad you like the idea

Hehe, sorry, I just really like selenite. I literally look at it and see air & wind. I didn't mean it to be harsh. Cheers!

they're all in some sort of oil; and no, they will not get moldy.

That's a very nice piece of jewelry. I can tell you put quite a bit of thought and effort into designing/producing it. Great work. ^^
