FULL VIEW to get the jokeThis is to celebrate the release of Final Fantasy XII in Japan ( you lucky bastards). a Strip inspired by all the coments of people talking about Vaan being to girly. And in their heads Girly = bad, or more like Girly = Raiden. Poor whiny Raiden, you are the Jar Jar binks of the Metal Gear saga. Not the wisest move from Kojima but its good to see he can laught at his own creation, and if you seen the secret theater in MGS3: subsistence youll know thats true
speaking of which, Metal Gear Online is a blast. The controls are ill suited for Deathmatch type game, but fair much better in a tactical game set like sneaking or Rescue missions. alright, back to MGO XD

Haha, I'm playing the game now, and I never thought he ACTED girlish, it's just...his VOICE...*shudder* I don't know how the japanese voice sounds, but the english one gets on my nerves -.-; *wispers* it makes him sound gay >.> <.<

I just got the game yesterday and was complaining to my husband that in FF the main guys tend to be rather girlish. (I think it's like the hero in operas are the ones with the higher voices)

Oh I hated Tidus...esp his voice. I never actually finished playing X (bc I didn't like the way the game play was set up)

Although, I will admit her character and costume design is wonderful! Not very far into the game (I assume) and I am warming up to her bit by bit, but I still like Baltier and Basch to look at better

I hate Vaan so much. he's such a fruitcake. Not only is he the most effeminate FF male lead to date, but he has no love interest. Which makes me seriously suspect him of being gay.

I tell ya, I 'm trying to get through that game. I'm only about 1/4 though and I'm bored to tears. It's the only Final Fantasy where, when you encounter an enemy, you put the controller down and go do something else. I feel that this game is my punishment for all of the times that I wished that Square would try out a new battle system for their FF games.

I actually found an interview with Square, somewhere, saying that Vaan was even MORE effeminate before they hired his voice actor, who played him less girly. So, they changed some stuff about him, then.
