indeed, makes you wonder why belmonts even try... i mean dracula will come back again and again, do pretty much nothing and then dissapear for another 100 years or less if you playing GBA

Nah, the thing is when Dracula was revived, he needs some time to regain his full power. The Belmonts so far was able to kill him before he can be just that. If he was in his maximum potential, that Vampire Killer is nothing more that a snap from a rubber band.
And what about his fans? Before their master's revival, they can at least take a shot on the Belmonts, kill their bloodlines or at least steal their precious Vampire Killer. That thing is Dracula Radar for goodness sake! Take that away & they'll have no idea where Dracula's gonna pop up next.
It's just in a matter of time before he ends up at the modern era, with WMDs, Metal Gears, Solid Snake & the like. Just sayin'

lol, we all know what happened when he hit the modern era, julius belmont defeated him again and his castle was sealed on a solar eclipse, now drac is a good guy that goes by the name soma cruz :3, and konami remade castlevania beginning with that guy... gabriel belmont...meh, who cares...
