im getting a full metal panic vibe from this..... well even though it isnt the greatest drawing i've seen your art style more than compensates for it

thats a pretty interesting design, I like it a lot
It has the feel of a techno knight
I also like how the weapon has, as far as it looks, melee and ranged capability in one package as opposed to having to carry multiple weapons just to handle close range and long range combat

maybe this was intentional, but this has more than a passing resemblance to Gauron's mecha from Full Metal Panic.

Oh, it's an anime military anime, it has a feel not unlike patlabour or even Robotech, except it's set in present day Japan.
