Ok. I must first say thank you to Nara for allowing me the opurtunity to color this picture. She drew the picture . . . and I wish I knew how to link stuff in the description . . . but if you really wanna see the original as well as some of her other works (which I reccomend) you can find some of her art in my favorites gallery.

ok, now for the art piece. The original is quiet impressive, and I attained a higher appreciation for Nara's attention to detail as I colored the piece. When I checked this picture out for the first time, I read the description before I actually saw the art (thank you 56K dail-up), and I had this invisionment of how it would look as soon as I saw the picture. Now, I do not follow Sonic the Hedgehog, let alone its fan-fics, as I understand this to be inspired from. And it wasn't until halfway through coloring this guy it dawned on me: "this is more than likely an already well established character in the Sonic universe, with a set look and personality (fan-fic twist aside) . . . shoot, I don't think I am coloring him correctly . . ." but I came to see this as a strength for this collaboration piece, as I was not bound to "it needs to look like this" and was free to have things open-ended.

So if this guy is supposed to be blue . . . he isn't. sorry. But when I read the description, this is the color palette my mind slapped on when I saw the line-art.

I am quiet pleased with how it tunred out. I put a lot of attention and detail (more than I would usually put) into this, and I need to put more effort into more of my pieces like I did with this one. I'd say about 4-6 hours collectively to finish coloring this and about a thousand layers ^_^ just because I'm difficult like that ^_^
