This is a bday present for [link]============
I started up doing a sort of drugged up version of her girl with a frog painting [link] . I had in mind what she would look like after the frog licking had taken hold. It sort of warped and became darker.
I'm not sure what to say about it now. I was experimenting with a light keyed painting, I'm still loving on these nipple-eyes

I can't say entirely what makes me really like this image, the haunting nature? the curious cuteness? those amazing nipple eyes?

I went to ArtCenter in Pasadena. He is an awesome painter, but he was a rather quiet teacher. Mostly came to class and painted. But watching him was always fun! He's still one of my favorite painters
