Description Another ring in my weapon series. These are rings that take their design cues from ancient/primitive weapons.

I'll have to track down exactly the original tool was. But it was an ivory harpoon that I saw at an exhibit at one of our local museums. I want to say Inuit, but I'm not 100% sure.

It looks heavy, but it's actually hollowed out. It's very comfy to wear, as long as you don't gouge an eye out

cast sterling silver and pearl

Very interesting and unique. It has a very cool feel to it. Reminds me a sketched surrealist landskcape.

Alex,
I love Inuit artifacts.
Which museum?
I've been to the Crocker which I was actually quite impressed by but no others in Sacto. Got any suggestions if I get over that way?

yes, go to the State Indian Museum! I think it's on K street in midtown. From the outside it doesn't look that impressive, but they have a surprisingly good collection. On the more history side, the Railroad museum and the Towe auto museum is pretty interesting too. Outside of Sacramento, Historical Terra Cotta factory is also a neat place to visit, and they host feats of clay every year too.

Haha I just uploaded one that is similarly weapon-like. And probably is WAY to sharp, but it looks awesome in a render. read the description maybe you could help me think of something to do

Is it "the eye"? the design looks pretty cool, I like it. It looks like the sides are open? An I reading the image right? How about have the angle of the opening bow in a little bit (so the pointy spike are more inside where the stone is and not sitting on top. Maybe fill the sides and, have a slight rounding at the top so it's not so sharp? I hope that helps, very nice ring
