Normally I don't like furries, but I recently played to "Solatorobo" on DS, and I think that Red & co. are really cute!

This picture you've done of Red, Chocolat, and the Dahak looks really nice, and "Solatorobo: Red The Hunter" happens to be one of my most favorite games on the Nintendo DS as well!

as great as the foreground is, I'm almost more impressed by the Background! I've not seen, outside of the game, any more detail to the landscape of Airaidale! you also did great work with your seven-layer shading on Red's boots, which are of course the most important part as the closest to the ground.
Heck! you even put detail into the grass! I love this so much! this is also the first shot I've seen in a while of Chocolate without the valve-suit all over her or her looking childish.

I saw this art and immediately looked up this game. It looks really interesting, but I also have never been very into anthro characters either. Kind of on the fence on whether or not I want to give it a try xD.
Regardless, this artwork is beautifully done. I love the linework and vibrant colors you used.

Random question: Does the game require the 'L' or 'R' buttons a lot? One of them (I can't recall which at the moment) no longer functions properly on my DS :/.

No, the L/R buttons are not strictly necessary, you can play it without big problems!

Wow. Great picture here! You got Dahak spot on, and he is one hard robot to draw. Red looks just plain awesome. And don't even get me started on that wicked background. Very nice job.
