Description
The very first batch of Faylins, and also the launch of this cute new species!
The species itself is still being worked on and launched, but let's see how they're appreciated first. I made two especially delicious designs for you.

What are Faylins?
A Faylin (plural Faylins, pronounced Fey-Leen) is a small dragon-like creature infused with magic at their birth.
They're known to be bringers of good luck and happiness to whoever may encounter them in their life, and sometimes a Faylin will willingly become the lifelong friend of someone.
They're the size of a dog in their native form.
They're considered to be fairies of sorts. Most of them are playful and nice, but some can be mischievous tricksters!
They never eat meat. They're forest keepers and because of that they value all life equally, even that of bugs.

Elemental Affinity
Not only are they bringers of good luck, but Faylins also have a mild elemental affinity that helps them interact between each other and practice magic.
The elements known are: Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, Light, Dark, Space, Time.

Habitat
Faylins live in places difficult to reach by outsiders, such as deep forests, hidden lakesides and similar. They will guide lost souls out of their territory, but sometimes they'll leave their home to venture in the outside world.

Genders
Faylins have no sexual dimorphism or genitalia, but they do have the concept of gender. Some may identify as male, female, neutral or even fluid!

Humanoid Forms
Many Faylins choose to live in a humanoid form due to the comfort that comes with having opposable thumbs.

Due to their small size in their native form, they're also relatively small in humanoid form, never being taller than 4'5''.
They have no genitalia in human form either and maintain a very androgynous, genderless appearance. They will grow hair, but will also keep all traits such as colours, horns and fins.
Most Fays don't wear clothes, but will happily wear accessories made with natural material such as wood bark, feathers and the likes.
