I was playing RE; code Veronica there's some month ago.I never really appreciated Claire in RE2, but I thought in the veronica issues, they managed to give her a better personnality.... that was better.
SO..... I said to myself, why not trying to do a Claire fanart?
finally the result is near from Eillen Galvin [link] or Henry townshend [link] :
I mean it's more some kind of portait than an illustration with an action!

I longer hesitate to post it in "digital art", cos' of the background.
But the picture was supposed to be with the original background> the white of the paper
However I hate those blank..... I still have the impression it give somethin' not finished;so Like with Henry I build a background under Photoshop.....
If Eilen have no BG it's just because I never managed to find a correct one

Nice job, I like the details she looks serious and mature here. I like how she isn't wearing the pink choker, I never liked it.

This is majorly impressive! The realistic detail you've included is really great! Things like the shape of her lips, and the shading in her navel (hopefully that sounds less creepy than I think it does ^^') are great details that get overlooked alot.

Oh rubbish. I know the description dates way back to 2005, but I have to throw a little rant here. Feel free to ignore it, you probably will anyway.
There was nothing wrong with her personality in RE2, nor did they change it or give her ''a better one'' in CV, as you so confusingly implied it here. They just expanded upon Claire's character when she starred in CV. Same for Leon, his character expansion started in RE4 also. However, that does not mean there was anything wrong with her in RE2, and shame on you for not appreciating the only character whom is consider the most emotional character in RE. All the others ones like Chris and Jill are cardboard cut-outs with little to no personality.
That is all...On a related note, I like your artwork, as per usual. If only you weren't critical about the things are don't require it.
