Description
I finished up putting together the sandals for Ordon Link today and decided to throw everything I had on for a little test. So I grabbed my camera, a few spare lights and some extra fabric and pieced together a makeshift set to take a few pictures.

Overall the costume came out alright. The triforce mark came out nicer than I thought it would. I just ordered the wig for the costume and will have it ready to go for PAX and SLCC in a few weeks. I wish I'd slowed down when doing the embroidery work on the blue thing and yellow cord. As patience seems to really pay off when it comes to embroidery. The ear rings are a bit odd to wear (They are just spring loaded, and rely on tension to stay in place.)

Part of this costume was getting more practice on sewing technique. This is the perfect costume for just that. Embroidery, linings, applique, bias tape, pattern drafting, and a bit of quilting are all things that this costume touches on. Hopefully my Green Tunic attempts will be a lot easier from this practice.
