I wonder if there's any significance behind the decals on Mirage? I should go look that up one day. I always found it funny to see "ELF" on Mirage's chassis. XD

Interesting question - Mirage is based on a Ligier F-1 race car and references Jacques Laffite (a famous driver from the 70s and 80s, who won 6 Grande Prixs). The number 26 was the number on his car, he endorsed Elf lubricants and Gitanes cigarettes. So Hasbro changed it to Citanes and DW to Citane. Some history for you care of Wiki XD

That's interesting. I knew that Mirage was based around some famous driver from that time, but I didn't know about the cigarettes thing. ^^
