There’s never been anything wrong with the classics, and the X-Men are no exception (At least judging from Storm’s and Emma Frost’s outfit, but not entirely sure…)
This is a well-presented who’s who of X-Men personalities who’ve been brought to life in this work, and each character looks superb in their own right. The effects emanating from their powers, such as Ice-Man’s frost, Storm’s lightning and Wolverine’s claws all have a keen sense of detail; this was clearly a labour of love.
Is a bit of a shame Jean Grey couldn’t be seen hovering above the rest of the crew, but that’s neither here nor there. For what it’s worth, this is an “X-ceptional” work of art on some of the most popular and socially significant superheroes of the modern era. A wonderful performance!

Woah!!! I'm so flattered by your comment/crit!!! Thanks - I love the pun !! It was a fun piece to do that challenged me both in terms of anatomical drawing and colouring. I'm already contemplating drawing another X-Men, this time with Jean Grey

I'm quite glad you enjoyed my thoughts. I do my best to give a good comment.
Looking forward to your next group portrait, in the meantime, keep up the great work and I'll see you round, perhaps.

I like your artwork. But you need to include Jean Grey.
To me, the X-Men isn't the X-Men without Jean Grey.
