this was more of a practice piece than anything, I used alex sinclair's coloring as a reference so that I could learn skin tones and lighting effects.Pencils: David Finch

Yeah the only time I ever saw her in comics was in the new 52 Dark knight series and her part was brief.

I saw her in a comic character list and was like "Wow, why hadn't I seen this before?!" She could work for Mumbo's assistant.

Great artwork, but MAN does Batman: The Dark Knight suck. It's easily the weak link of the Batman books.

I really have no idea when it comes to colouring like that. Do you have any tips?

I've just referenced Professional colorings for pointers and tips, to be honest I don't know what to tell you, I've only been coloring a couple of months. I use photoshop cs6, a mouse(I don't have the money for a graphics tablet) and I Just put color to the image (Using layers) and then I lighten and darken the image (using lighter and darker versions of the colors I'm working on) to add a 3d effect.

Kinda same what I do. So I'm not going the wrong way. I just find it hard to find the right colours, because DC comics and Marvel got a special colour theme, getting it right it hard. And I know nothing about colour codes etc. But I'll learn with time. Thanks anyways!

Sometimes when I'm having trouble finding the right color, I get an Image off google (of the character that I'm coloring) and then use the dropper tool to grab the color from the image. but that doesn't always work.

I know what you mean. It doesn't always work either because most time the colour is gradient, so it's wise taking the lightest colour and go from there, or the opposite.
