Here's the final version of our entry into the Spawn Lucky 13 Contest that Todd McFarlane is running on Facebook. He's already in the process of choosing the 13 best entries and which will be picked on November 9th. With this piece I tried to really make it pop, to render it more than I usually do and just to make it bold!
Took about 23 and a half hours to color.

Very well done your rendering compliments the amount of detail Chris and Jake put into it nicely. That hair is crazy are you doing that with selections? Crazy good you can really see the extra amount of work you put into it, one of your best!

Thanks! Yeah, they told me to go crazy with it. So I did more rendering than I've ever done on a piece with so few characters. On this one I started a new hair rendering style using only selections and the dump tool.

That you did it paid off though. I can't seem to use selections they look really jagged and ugly for me I still hand paint everything.
