Description I'm not as thrilled as I hoped I would be about the background, but over all, it came out alright.

Constructive criticism welcome

First off, I just have to say that I love her expression and flowing hair. It makes her even sexier. ~__^

As for constructive criticism, what medium did you use for this illustration? The dark blacks look a little choppy. By that I mean, some parts are obviously shaded in a different direction when you mean for it all to go one way. Try to keep the flow consistent and smooth. Sometimes this only requires multiple layers to get a nice vivid, dark black. I would also suggest enlarging the ear a little bit as it looks slightly off, but besides that, this is a very nicely done drawing. =3

Well, I did this with a mechanical pencil, that's why the strokes are a little spotchy.

Thanks for the critiquing, I appreciate you taking the time!

Ah, then that makes more sense. ^^ If you're using mechanical pencil and want to fill in a large, dark and mostly untextured area, try creating multiple layers of circles/ovals by moving the pencil in a circular or oval motion. It takes a while to get the smooth consistent look(especially when you have a lot of space to cover), but it generally makes those areas look more complete and full. I hope this helps some. =3

You're welcome. It was no problem at all. Good luck. ^^

I know the technique that you're talking about, but I eventually reached the point where my hand hurt from hard-sketching and decided I wouldn't fret over it anymore. (I'm still a little sore, actually...)

Thanks though, I appreciate the input!

Haha, that's understandable. I've done that before when my hand started to get sore(cause I learned my lesson from last year. =-= I kept pumping out a ton of work for my ADV. Drawing class despite the pain, and I ended up having to take a break from the class by request of the professor. My arm still hasn't completely recovered.)

You're welcome. x3 Good luck!

This is really well done!
I think the background came out perfectly (with the moon and gate).
Great job, as always

That's the nature of Psylock.

I guess it's just hard to go wrong with leotard-clad ninja-girls...

I try to think up some kind of criticism but the only thought going through my mind is that this is awesome. I love the gate in front of the full moon.

...

Yeah, can't think of any criticism.

I need to do my conceptualization on my backgrounds because everything outside of the torii gate seems a little bit artificial, especially towards the foreground. :/

Thanks though! I appreciate the support!
