the posing is similar to our friend Kain, one of his painting, but i got the ref. from a fashion mag.

This is great work, wonderful texture and the quality of the lines is amazing, great little flicks of white highlight too which really adds to the solidness of the figure

I know this has probably nothing to do with it, but I've been taking African-American history this quarter at school, and this reminds me of so many of the Harlem Rennessiance paintings of slavery. I love the texture and the detail, and the seemingly tormented expression. Absolutely beautiful.

You are very welcome! And yes, I did see "Armageddon"; it's a great film and it does have several powerful messages. I find the scenes of prayer and the ending to be especially moving. I also love sing-along scene just before the shuttle launches
