An introspective moment while walking on a bog trail made me think about how much chaos exists in life, yet there is always a path to help guide you through. It can be obvious or hidden, rocky or smooth, straight or winding, but it is always there.

This photo was taken early in the morning on the day of the solar eclipse in central New York with my wife. The morning was very clear, but the clouds did end up dominating the sky. It was on this trail we said even if we didn’t see totality that it was a great place to be on eclipse day.
