Very nice scenery, the sky looks really good and I like the smooth reflection on the water. But perhaps though...maybe it's just me, but I don't think that old, scrappy looking dock goes well with the scenery. It's not as beautiful as the scenery, and it does tend to steal a bit of attention away from it too. You might agree, you might not, but nonetheless this is still a really good picture. Good job!

Looking at it now i think i agree with tangledwed as well, thanks i love this tiny little pier, normally there are people fishing there but that day it was just too damn cold.

An incredibly gorgeous scene. The power of the right side of your photo is so clear that I wonder if the left side (past the outcrop of weeds growing in the water) is extraneous in the composition...the land seems mundane and the blues less beautiful. I place my hand over that left side and look at it...and it seems even more potent.

I know what you mean it does look a little flat, i might have a go at fixing it, but part of why i like this pic is because other than processing the RAW there is no manipulation that is how it looked, a very beautiful morning.

such a simple shot but so very effective - absolutley beautfiful!!
The colours in this shot have such a fantastic depth to them, in addition to that the first impression is that it is a shot of nothing particuarly special, however for me it is like a great painting that you could look at for hours - seeing new things each time!!
Needless to say I have
