Description
The NES era. The astounding variety of characters shows how much experimentation and fun was happening in the game industry at that time. This image is a collection of the characters and stories that inspired a generation.

I love how you included not only popular NES characters, but some underappreciated ones too, like Mappy, (Love Mappy-Land) the Balloon Fighter, the Ice Climbers, Little Nemo, Mike Jones, and even FireBrand from the "Gargoyle's Quest" series. Including licensed characters like Leonardo, (TMNT) & Scrooge Mcduck is nice too, as they had great games too, and they're part of many early gamers' childhoods too.
Truly awesome work, great homage to the NES era. You're drawing with power.

That's exactly what all these guys are doing here: Playing with Power! You sure were excellent in the tribute you paid to all the well known first-party, third party, and licensed titles from the NES library. The Nintendo Entertainment System changed the whole gaming world, and the whole modern formula of the video game as an invention owes itself to that one console.
Given the NES's impact on the world of digital entertainment, its mediocre technical limitations simply didn't do it justice. If only it were a lot more powerful... just imagine how that would have changed its longevity and game library!
