I never used to be a fan of soft/painterly shading on my own art, and in retrospect it was probably bc I wasn't good at it, cause I'm in love with how this turned out.

I also switched back to doing traditional sketches, and that has cut my drawing time in half. Surprisingly, the soft shading also takes less time than my usual stuff, so like... win/win for me, y'all!

Anyways, this guy is another ship adopt that I've had on the back burner for a while. The ship he's based on is Applejack X King Sombra :>
