Rather Christopher Pratt, don't you think? She looks as if she's not quite sitting on the boat.

Great piece. It really conveys a feeling of loneliness but immense freedom. The sky is wonderful and the texture of the boat is amazing. Fantastic work.

Very nice work...it looked like a picture from here. Great realism here, from the subject, to the clouds, and down to the texture on that boat. Use of colors is excellent, and shading is also well-done. The hair of the lady is itself excellent, but it looks a tad "detached" for some reason.

This picture can only be appreciated in full view. Beautiful job. There is such a feeling of loneliness in this picture. her face and body express so much. You did the sky beautifully as well, looks so soft and realistic and contrasts well with the sharp texture of the wood.

I really like all the space of the sky around her. She looks fantastic, very realistic, especially her hair. The boat seems a bit off though; the wood grain of the planks just looks like brushstrokes, and I think the perspective is a little skewed; the way it juts off to the right and the fact that you can see the sides of the boat on both sides makes it look wrong. The girl is my favorite part, I must say, both the emotion conveyed in her pose and the way you painted her.

Incredible detail work I agree with some of the other commenters here... many are the artists who try to portray a strong emotion, rare is the instance where I actually want to give the subject a hug. She really needs a hug. Her posture, her position on the boat, her hands held stiff in front of her as if bound, black around her throat, legs and wrists like clapirons... if this is a memory, it is perfectly realized and reproduced here

Absolutely love the detail and textures in this. That long black hair over lapping her face really adds mystery. I wonder what she's thinking about perched on that boat all alone under that blue, blue sky? Fantastic and evocative work!
And definately a keeper!^^
