An absolutely adorable painting . I love the very rich and exact colour tones. Precise work on all the details together with accurate shading make the vision very realistic.

Generally very moody owing to the neatly chosen and composed elements.

I don't mind the photo-realism that much. It's just one of the tools to convey a message. I think this is very beautiful and the subject is well chosen. I just wish the scan was bigger.

mm... I can tell you put a lot of effort in this beautiful piece. I cringe at how long it must have taken. I love the roots especially... My only suggestion would be with the clover... They're colored very nicely, but there's still something... unrealistic about them. Perhaps not enough shadow? Though since they're usually kind of flat there wouldn't be that much shadow... if its not that then it might be the shade of green. I think also the clovers that are lower down beneath a few layers would be a lot darker than how you colored them. God that feels nit pitty, I really love this though, honestly!

wow! Nicely done! The details on the shading is most remarkable! Although the some of the lighting on some of the plant limbs look too bright, and it takes away from their volume, but otherwise, nicely done! Oh, and just a suggestion, but if make it look more "vibrant" you can add a bit more of the leaves to it. Maybe even have some of the leaves on the ground, all crubled looking, and ancient. Nicely done!
