Description
Yeah, we got this facility, as you can see here, where we manufacture all of your fancy dendrites, a few of your common axon terminals, and what have you. We got nerve...With a raystep multiplier of 0.1 and a stepwidth limiter of 0.2, this took a while to render.

being a very simple minded person and not even knowing or hearing about neuroanatomy, I simply see a lobsters metal claw.

The spikey items in the piece, linked together by the long tendrils look similar to dendrites or axon terminals, while the tendrils themselves resemble axons. In any case, the size, scope, and detail of the piece is simply breathtaking, but then I'm biased.

I'm delighted to hear that you love this! I have several ancient textbooks around here, but I'm not sure if I have that one. Cheers!

guess u get the neuroanatomy from some source.
floyd bloom etal, would not be happy to hear themselves termed "anchient", as they do a very good job of publishing "revised editions" for as long as i can remember.
i think my most favorate writers ( the ones that entertain me ,and keep my attention) are
1- alan abelson, who writes the weekly editorial for barrons. been reading that for at least 20 years.
he throws words together that dont belong together, and makes it work, and funny also. he kills me.
2- richard feynmann- he has a style that is so very engaging. so very entertaining.
i find it amazing " variabilities" , they exist in everything. they are essentially the same, but because of the perspective of the storyteller, and not because of the subject matter, they vary!

I meant that my books are ancient, most are at least 25 years old, not the specific volume you cited.
My favorite writers are those that are linguistic champions, Stan Kelley-Bootle, who wrote for Unix Review for years, Bill Bryson, Frank Herbert, Philip K. Dick, J. R. R. Tolkein, and George R. R. Martin.
There are probably hundreds of others (if not thousands).

i am poor, so to economize, i read nothing but physics. those books are more cost effective as far as money spent/time to read.
engaging in linquistics , i did, it is a handy item to have in one's quiver.
reading fiction is against my nature.

I should have learned to economize, but never did, now I live under a pile of books and debt.
