This is a fractal? Are you doing fractals now? You know I was going to download a whole setup to start doing fractals and then I see so many fractals in this fractal group I am in and I thought there were so many people doing fractals that I thought there was just too much competition and I don't really know what the best setups are to do fractals anyway, so I didn't do it. BUT the other thing about this one is you wouldn't believe that I was a co-founder and music director of a Baroque Opera Company and helped to choose the name for it and it was.......................................................EX MACHINA. God out of a machine. And our first opera "God" came down from the rafters over the stage to solve all the problems of the characters and they all lived happily ever after. What does "Ifrit" mean?

I thought first of "Deus ex machina" which is a literary tool for solving the problems of a story in a way that is outside of logic.
Ifrit are supernatural creatures in Arabic and Islamic cultures. They are in a class of infernal Djinn noted for their strength and cunning. An ifrit is an enormous winged creature of fire, either male or female, who lives underground and frequents ruins. Ifrits live in a society structured along ancient Arab tribal lines, complete with kings, tribes, and clans. They generally marry one another, but they can also marry humans. While ordinary weapons and forces have no power over them, they are susceptible to magic, which humans can use to kill them or to capture and enslave them. As with the djinn, an ifrit may be either a believer or an unbeliever, good or evil, but he is most often depicted as a wicked and ruthless being.
So, from "God from the Machine" I went to "Ifrit from the Machine"
Oh, yeah, I'm doing fractals on my sad little AMD 3-core machine, and while there are lots of people doing them, there are virtually unlimited permutations possible, so just as in other art genres, just because there are a billion people using Acrylic or Oil, doesn't preclude me from doing it, because not one of those people is working with my imagination. The two (free) programs I work with right now are Apophysis and Mandelbulb 3D. Jump in, the water's fine, and don't mind those kids over there splashing everyone, they'll get tired of it soon enough.
