continuation of one of my school projects. as i mentioned before i borrowed jungle book's charas and illustrated my sides and my thoughts by them.

bagheera is portrait of my patient fury into which sometimes i unfortunately sink down. this is a rarest and one of worst part of me.

As I prepare for lights out and dreamland here in California, I greet you with a good morning and rousing good morning shout. Well, maybe not rousing, if you haven't had your morning caffeine yet.

You have so many excellent artworks here that it's difficult for me to pick one to fave. I'll pick this one, one of your oldies. It may be a portrait of your "patient fury", but the huge black panther is my spirit mother that comes to me in dreams. So there, this one.

Other than that, I can say you have a very compelling and often quietly jarring or darkly disturbing graphic style. As there are some of my own work that people have remarked does similarly, I am simultaneously repulsed or disturbed and attracted and awed as well. (I hope you take that as my observation, personal response and a compliment all at once, but that's how I mean it.)

Anyway, I thank you for sharing your art, and your unique style. I'd be interested to know, if you ever care to reveal them, some of the techniques behind the creation of your art, and also your thinking, motivation and intention towards your viewers, or if they are intended to mean whatever they mean for whomever views them, or what?

Best regards,
Ed

my very thanks, as such insightful comments are very rarely spare. and my apologies as long time passed, but somehow i forget to take care of my works here.
'quietly jarring' sounds utmost motivating for me, its definitely one true compliment. as for techniques i must be a little dissapoint im afraid - i have no special tricks nor gold solutions. maybe apart this one - in beggining all my works are extremely blank, causing my first enthusiasm drop and making all creation somewhat boring, yet i know that in the end i can always add some scratches, bizzarre line out of compositions, typography maybe and this act is changing everything. so like cliche couch would say - wait till the end
and my intentions are always to tell some story. i always have a comment before i have a drawing and i tend to want to impress someone sometimes, but not with an art itself, but with anegdote i'm bringing, like interesting stranger in late hour in pub D
(and here it is 1pm 13 minutes and still have no coffe yet)

This is incredible. Panthers are such beautiful animals, and you captured that perfectly. Also, Bagheera is such a wonderful character, and you made him come to life.

ah, thank you! and also, i'm always confused whenever somebody calls bagheera a 'he'. in polish version bagheera is a 'she'

You're very welcome. In the english version Bagheera is always male-but I guess that varies with language. Anyway he(or she) is beautiful in your drawing.

Yes, I just learned today that in the Polish translation (and apparently also in the Russian) Bagheera is female. It surprised me, but I can see where it would definitely work.

Wow, a great character to choose for such a dangerous aspect of human nature. I love the drawing, and the simple colors pallet. And the text is well put together; (if I have to) is perfect in parenthesis.

Also--amazing thematic choice, altogether. Working from Kipling's Jungle Books is an awesome concept.

my very thanks. especially for parenthesis appreciation, cuz i think that it won't be the same without it and not everyone thinks that makes sense. but it does ! all idea come from suggestion from prof that (while debating about my rather flat in emotion picture from JB) illustartions should be make only when someone really needs pictures to understand a story, and not just because. and then i said maybe i should then make a special pictures for you sir to understand me? and all i got was 'go on'.
i have four already and two.. maybe three in head. then i will shut the concept. i'm not that complex girl after all

That's a cool idea to use illustration for. And since I think Kipling's stories were sort of all about what it means to be a human vs. an animal, an even better subject choice. I look forward to seeing others.
