So darn hard to draw this...not just the perspective, which was difficult the first time (I attempted to make it a little better this time, scooting some things closer so you can see everyone better), but drawing Aang with a beard. That's pretty hard. Avatar was my whole childhood. I used to base my calendar around every Friday, when there would be a new episode. I don't know what day it is now, half the time. I'm totally serious. Very emotional drawing for me...could probably do with some touching up though, especially the far background, and I really hope no one actually zooms in on it. Lighting is a tiny bit too pink for me, so I might retouch the colors a tad and reupload it soon.

So, reunion at the Jasmine Dragon! Aang and Katara are just arriving, Zuko and Iroh are planning some sort of peaceful campaign (Iroh is still here because...because I couldn't NOT. His hair's a little whiter and I gave him a few more wrinkles though, and he's in the same outfit he wore in the Lu Ten flashback from Bitter Work). Mai's the first to notice the new arrivals (I have no idea what she or Suki are supposed to be wearing now, so I designed their outfits myself), but Sokka and Suki are a little distracted. Toph is either regaling them with her recent capture of a ntoroious criminal, or something she just did to Lin because she was bad. Draw your own conclusions.

In the courtyard we have Mai and Zuko's daughter attempting to play with Momo, Bumi hanging off of Appa's horn, and Tenzin on top of Appa's head, calling down to Lin. Kya is waterbending near the fountain. I remembered Momo this time, I am so happy!
