ABOUT THIS TIME OF THE YEAR...SOMEHOW I CANNOT HELP BUT
NOTICE "THINGS"... LOTS OF THEM...THAT SADDEN ME MORE
AT THIS TIME THAN DURING THE REST OF THE YEAR....
AS I SAID... I HAVE ALWAYS FELT THIS, BUT I GUESS NOW IT IS JUST
SO BRUTALLY OBVIOUS.... AND SO I HAD TO SHARE IT WITH YOU
USING IMAGES THAT I HAVE COME ACROSS ....
I WANT TO OFFER MY SUPPORT TO DEAREST JENNY :iconjennystokes: WHO HAS MENTIONED
EXACTLY THE SAME IN HER LATEST JOURNAL ....
DO NOT FRET DEAREST JENNY AND ALL OF YOU WHO FEEL THIS WAY.... 3rd DD !
...to be honest, I'm not so sure this photo deserves to be chosen for DD among all those beautiful street photos made by true masters of street photography .
I find this photo "easy to take" and I think almost anyone could do it; i find it a bit cliche(ish)... I do like the contrast, composition , juxtaposition and even possible interpretations but, for me, it is just a so-so street photo (like most of my street photos )...
my choices for street DDs would be more like... well, this :
