Yeah she won't let anything get in way of where her little Time lord wants to go.
I don't think so god knows what happened in the time war so i'm gonna state that an off screen event happened to bring back the original in some way or form, such as the restoring of the mind being contained with in an new shell or something.
Had a joke in mind where the Overseer would playfully comment something like 'Did you enjoying being gas master Time Controller?' sort of thing, yeah i know not smart but her future self can get away with it.

I don't think the Overseer no longer understands the concept of sass if anything knowing that the DTC conquered thousands of worlds as the eminence might give her a fangirl moment, again another trait the DIG never thought to remove from her.
