Sweet, deep Saiou kisses for his darling Edo.
I like this set after the end of the GX series, when all that constant boobery of life-and-death-struggles-for-the-universe is over(or is a least happening a hell of a lot less frequently! 9_9), and Saiou and Edo can concentrate on each other and getting their relationship back in order. They've been through so much, together and apart. Its time for them to try to let go of the anger and sadness of the previous years and focus on their love again and look forward to a happy future together... the way it should be.
I needed a little something to lift my spirits.
A shot of SaiEdo soulmate passion can do wonders.This is also my entry for 's OTP contest.
I had several different pics I was working on and I just couldn't make my mind up and kept switching between them. >>; Now is the time to settle, so this will be my "the chosen one". SaiEdo FTW! ~_^

Gorgeous. Seeing someone else draw Saiou's gorgeous goddamn hair in some form of motion always makes me happy, so I'd fave it just for the hair, but it does so much else right why bother? The shading and lighting. The dynamic between the characters (so sick of completely static 'intimate' pictures, really). . .list goes on. Cybercat really already read the canto of virtues here. Suffice it to say you always find a way to make my day a little better.
Ed's neck and collarbone are just. . .guh. Neck.

It's very hard to comment on this due to resisting the temptation just to burble at it's awesomeness and stare at it longer. XD
Yes... just yes.
The ending of GX was so crap for any pairing that I enjoy so it's good to know that you're showing how things could be right for these two together after the series kept showing them seperate. Plus, even if all the universe-destroying events are still happening they're following Juudai around, so while he's off being a sand-hobo the other characters can take this chance to get their lives in order. XD
First off, Saiou's hair is my total favourite part of this. It's all wonderful but I keep getting drawn back to the way the hair's falling over Saiou's shoulder, and it looks so nice and fluffy and not about to rape someone, even though it is trailing over Edo further down. 
Moving onto the background detail I love the yellow light reflecting on them. Admittedly I tend to forget to pay attention to light sources when drawing, but you've shown a very clear light source in this picture. For the actual objects, purple was a good choice for the curtains because it works so well with Saiou's hair and the pattern on the cushion does actually look like the sort of pattern you'd find on a real cushion - though I forget what the pattern's called.

Yeah, well... you know I tend to pretty much ignore 95% of what happened after the end of Season 2. Everything just went so wrong so fast. Blah! 9_9

I'm always trying to see what new thing I can do with Tegaki, so this time I tried messing with the lighting a little for a more romantic mood.
Saiou's hair is my favorite part too. I was just thinking... Saiou has all that lovely hair, and I just don't see people taking much advange of it when they draw him, especially in romantic pictures, so I figured I'd make it a focus. Heh... when the Saiou wig I made is down from the storage shelf, I just can't keep myself from running my hands through it, whether its on the wig head or on Kurai.
As you can see, I'm also a fan of Edo's black shirt, but it will never be as great as his epically adorable pink shirt! ;D
I chose a damask-type pattern for the pillow because I thought it would work well for either the exotic Saiou Takuma or the gypsy-like Sartorius Kumar version of the character. I also thought the pillow and the drapes fit well with the style that Saiou had his old Tarot shop in. Even thought it has been many years, I figure he still likes that kind of style. I really imagine the bedroom here smelling of sweet incense.

Season 3 through end is definitely not a subject to get me onto. XD You know I hate it as well, except for Trueman and Martin/Rei. After they introduced Fujiwara the series was dead to me. ;_;

Probably nobody pushes the limits of Tegaki like you do. XD That's the thing I don't get about Saiou, when people draw female characters with long, flowing hair they fully take advantage of the way it moves but with Saiou's hair nobody seems to bother. D: I'm even guilty of that admittedly. Awwww... 
Nothing beats the pink shirt. They doomed the boy to a lot of in-jokes when they gave him that. XD Oh, and you shouldn't add exotic and gypsy onto the different versions of Saiou/Sartorius because that just makes me want to slash them. xP And totally in agreement about the bedroom smelling of incense too. Though I hope that I don't have to write a fic describing Saiou's bedroom now because I'd go off on a tangent about that.
