I grumble a bit as I trip, stubbing a toe in the dark.
"It's really dark under all these trees in the middle of the night. What's so special right down the back here? Any why couldn't I bring a torch?!"
"You'll see, quiet now, we don't want to let on that we're here"
We creep as quietly as we can though the undergrowth and peer through the trees. I heard the trickle of the stream first with splashes and soft nickers and whinnies. Creeping up to a clearing the moonlight filters down onto the herd of unicorns glowing brightly in the dim light. The foals were splashing and playing around in the water while their mothers grazed peacefully nearby.
"Wow will you look at that. I see why you said I needed to see this, it's magical"

My adoption try for *Rae134 's beautiful blue black neon unicorn foal [link] I came up with so many stories and had to pick one to draw! (They're so addictive to draw Poor Elysium, she missed out, it was between this one and one with her in it) Sorry about the tail, it was longer and looped around more but his head got in the way and made it look funny so it's a bit shorter than it probably should be.
