Description By: A Stereotypical Gamer

Cinder is dispatched on a mission to kill Qrow before he can recover. In the midst of the attack, she does battle with Jaune Arc, and finds herself unable to kill him. Instead she is driven by a very different emotion, one that may not be her own... but rather the lingering soul of Pyrrha Nikos, possibly still alive within her.

Have you read Multiplayer by NeoShadows? I think the tone perfectly fits with your drawing style.

Oh, this is not ok... on a list of things that are not ok, this is REALLY not ok. I love Cinder and hate Jaune. Cinder please kill him with his own sword... good picture regardless.

Why do you hate Jaune?

Objectively, I don't think he's a bad character. However, he just bothers me cause he still feels like the doofus who vomed right after getting off the ship. Other than his fighting skills it doesn't feel like he's progressed personality wise. Now granted I haven't watched season 5 or any of 6 so maybe those will change my mind but for now, I just don't like him.

I get the feeling she's got a Grimm eye under that patch.

Might not be.  They've already revealed the Grimm hybrid aspect of Cinder when she used her grafted arm.  Why take the time to repeat the trick with her eye?  There's something else under the mask, something different.

Slight spoilers for V5 E13:

It's not a grimm eye - it's just scarred.

While i think the idea is cool, the nerd inside me wants the only thing Jaune to stick in Cinder to be HIS BLADE INTO HER [We are sorry, but this part has been censored due to breaking several laws set by the United Nations, we apologize and hope you have a swell day!].

This fanfic was an awesome read. Kinda wish it was canon in fact

It's a good fic, as long as you're willing to discard two things.  One, that Cinder orchestrated a school shooting.  Two, that the writers of RWBY showed us nothing humanizing about Cinder BEFORE said school shooting.  In canon, the time to humanize Cinde in ANY way came and went with the Invasion, which is her happily swan-diving off of the Moral Event Horizon, to use a TVTrope term.  While this is really the ONLY way I can see Cinder genuinely joining the heroes (through an invasive influence that affects her very thought process and mindset, which would affect her decision-making), the romance angle is narrative suicide.  We as the audience get nothing to humanize Cinder (and have yet to, even if it is too late), and they as the cast of characters would never truly accept her.  She attacked their school.  She killed their friends.  Why would ANY of them WANT to truly bond with Cinder, even if they KNEW of Pyrrha's invasive influence?  Odds are, they'd be holding out hope that Pyrrha takes her over completely.  Nora is right to call things out, and the fact that she's the last holdout only serves to underscore how utterly ridiculous the romance aspect is.  The fact that Pyrrha herself seems to give them her blessing at the end is just....WRONG.

It's a good picture nonetheless.  The source material, far less so.

I did say "kinda", didn't I? No need to be hostile.

I am not blind. I know the likelihood of Cinder becoming a heroine is very unlikely at this point. She's done horrific things, as you said. But call me an eternal optimist or an idiot, but I still want to see Cinder eventually have a heel-face turn, to use another TV Tropes term. That said, while Volume 4 hinted at the possibility, Volume 5 made it clear it won't be for a loooooooong time. Even if she wanted to, the Grimm graft is proof Salem is keeping her on a tight leash.

She's gonna need to get her ass kicked, her pride utterly crushed, and her belief in destiny (whatever it is) outright destroyed before she'll realize just how much control Salem has over her. Even then, it's still gonna take time before she can finally break free. "I May Fall" hints at such.

Ah, the song lyrics.  Let me know when such evidence shows up INSIDE the scope of the story's narrative.  Song lyrics are not that.

I really hope some part of Pyrrah is alive in Cinder.
